Our Role as a Pakistani in Floods 2022

Unfortunately, one-third of Pakistan has been submerged in flood water. Nearly a million people have been homeless and many of them are sleeping under the open sky on highways and on higher planes. They have no food, livestock, or medicines to treat the increasingly water-borne diseases. In these challenging times, it is our responsibility as Pakistanis to come forward and help our brothers and sisters in need. For this purpose, I commend the efforts of all NGOs, which are working tirelessly to provide aid to the flood victims. One of the few names coming to my mind is Sarwar Foundation which I have found to be dedicated to this cause. SF has been organizing free medical camps where doctors check up the flood-affected patients and provide them with free medicines under the supervision of Ch Mohammad Sarwar.

This welfare organization also distributed rations among the flood victims in Charsadda and Dadu. As a Pakistani, I pay tribute to the volunteers and doctors who have been at the frontline, distributing rations and providing medicines to those who have been affected by the floods. The team of Sarwar foundation has been providing free medical aid and will continue to do so in the longer term. But we cannot rehabilitate our brothers and sisters till we all will come forward to contribute to the NGOs because the flood devastation is on a much bigger level than we imagined. I am contributing to SF as I trust this NGO & urge others to come forward and contribute as much as they can to the cause of the rehabilitation of flood affectees to any NGO that they trust.
